Top Sandbox Games Performance in South Africa Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top sandbox-like games on a unified platform in South Africa exhibited diverse trends in downloads, active users, and revenue, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $93K in early October and peaking at around $162K by the end of December. Weekly downloads also showed a positive trend, growing from about 28K to nearly 38K. The app's active user base expanded from 730K to over 930K by the quarter's end.

School Party Craft by Candy Room Games & RabbitCo maintained a steady rise in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 15K and reaching over 23K towards the end of December. The active users increased from 160K to about 191K.

Block Craft 3D: Building Game from Wildlife Studios experienced a modest increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $244 in early December. Downloads rose from 11K to over 12K, while active users grew from 36K to approximately 46K.

Craft World Block Crazy 3D by NT-ABI saw its weekly downloads climb from about 7.5K to over 12K, and active users increased from 9K to 15K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Mini Block Craft by StartourMobs also showed growth, with downloads rising from 6K to nearly 11K, and active users increasing from 18K to 25K.
